Package Questions
Is hosting included in the price?
Yes, for the first year. UK hosting and an SSL certificate are included in every package at no extra charge. From year two, hosting and domain renewal fees apply (see below).
What does the £99 setup fee cover?
The £99 setup fee is charged once. It covers registering your domain name, setting up your hosting, mailboxes and SSL certificate, and getting your website live once your design has been approved.
What do the domain and hosting cost after the first year?
Your .co.uk or .uk domain and your UK hosting are free for the first year. From year two, you pay the domain renewal fee and the hosting fee. These are set by the domain and hosting providers and can change, so the amount depends on their current prices.
Do you sell hosting on its own?
No. Hosting is part of our website packages and is not sold separately.
Which package should I choose?
Launch gets you online with a professional website. Accelerate helps you get found on Google. Dominate adds ongoing marketing to help you get more enquiries. Book a free consultation and we will recommend one.
What does “Optional” mean in the table?
Optional items are not part of that package, but can be added to it. Ask us for details.
Can I upgrade or downgrade later?
You can upgrade at any time. Downgrading is not available until the end of your 12-month minimum contract.
Is there a minimum contract, and how do I cancel?
Yes. All packages have a minimum contract of 12 months. Notice to cancel can be given at any time during your contract. It must be sent in writing by email and given at least 2 months in advance.
Will I own my website if I leave?
Yes. You own your domain and website when you leave or when your contract ends. If you cancel your monthly direct debit without giving notice, your domain and website will not be transferred to you.
How long does it take to build my website?
On average, your website takes 7 working days to complete. Once you approve it, it takes a further 3 working days to go live.
Can I request changes after my website goes live?
Website changes are not included during the first 12 months once your website has been designed and is live. That is why we ask you to review your design carefully before you approve it. Support covers technical issues with your website, hosting and email.
Contract and fees: The £99 setup fee is charged once. All packages have a minimum contract of 12 months. Notice to cancel can be given at any time during the contract, must be sent in writing by email, and must be given at least 2 months in advance. You can upgrade at any time, but you cannot downgrade until the end of the 12 months. From year two, domain renewal and hosting fees apply.
Ownership: You own your domain and website when you leave or when your contract ends. If you cancel your monthly direct debit without giving notice, your domain and website will not be transferred to you.
What is not included: website changes once your website is designed and live (during the first 12 months), major website redesigns, paid advertising, and premium third-party software where applicable. New pages are included only where stated.
